(FOR THE TOY BOX)
To investigate the quality and enjoyability factor of various
doggie toys that will keep me busy enough to ignore the wallpaper and other "off
limits" type items!
Hi Folks!
Secret Agent Belle from New York here!
I have been given today's mission by The Chief (aka Mommy). She likes to give me the
occasional assignment when she has to go off to Headquarters. These jobs (if they are
entertaining enough) keep me from eating the wallpaper!
My mission for Toy Box (which I gladly accepted!) was to investigate a wonderful object
you folks call a Kong.
At first when I saw this hard rubber, beehivey looking thing I thought it looked kind of
odd but I really wanted to chew it to shreds. Funny thing, no matter how I tried I
couldn't make a dent - and believe me - I tried.
But I found out something wonderful about this mysterious Kong thing. When I bounce it,
treats fall out! The Chief must be a genius! Some of them are filled with delicious kibble
and rawhide treats. Some of them have my favorite - peanut butter which I have to lick out
from the interior. On hot days like today the inside is filled with frozen low fat chicken
broth (got to watch that girlish figure)! WOW - frozen Kongsicles! This one kept me busy
for about 45 minutes (and Daddy said I looked awfully cute licking on this one). Not only
is this an indestructible toy but a handy treat dispenser as well!
And you guys call this work!
